First-tier Notebook Vendors Pushing 4 GB Products Next Year To Lift DRAM Market.

While first-tier notebook vendors such as Dell, Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Toshiba are planning to roll out 4 GB notebooks starting from the first quarter of 2008, the move is expected to give a boost to the DRAM market, according to memory module makers. The current mainstream specification for notebooks is 1 GB.

XFX Announces 3-Way SLI X58 Mobo.
Although XFX may be best known for producing Nvidia-based graphics cards, the company is by no means new to the motherboard scene. The newest addition to XFXò€™s motherboard line-up is the X58i, designed for Intel Core i7 processors. The main highlight of the new motherboard is its support for 3-way SLI or ATI CrossFireX.
