Google has launched a new service that allows users to create customized search engines. The Google Custom Search Engine lets users specify the parameters of where and what Google searches, allowing users to create search engines devoted to one specific topic or group of sites, such as a list of favorite blogs or retail sites. Notebook Panel Prices To Remain Flat In April As Clients Resist Hikes.
Although LCD panel makers wish to increase their prices for the notebook segment, downstream vendors are aggressively resisting the hikes, with prices likely to stay flat in April compared to March, according to WitsView. WitsView said demand for notebook panels will gradually rise, as notebook OEM shipments are expected to increase an average of 2% per month in the second quarter.
