ISuppli: Wireless Semiconductors Outgrow Overall Chip Market In 2007.

÷  Riding the momentum of continued strong demand growth for mobile handsets, sales of semiconductors for wireless products rose at a faster pace than the overall chip market in 2007, according to iSuppli. The global wireless semiconductor market generated $29.5 billion in revenues in 2007, up 7.6% from $27.4 billion in 2006.

Intel to cut 915 chipset prices in April and July.
Following its planned price cuts on April 3 of this year, Intel will follow with price cuts on four of its 915-series and two of its 945-series integrated graphics chipsets on July 3, according to sources at Taiwan motherboard makers.
