Mobo and chipset makers upbeat about a price war between Intel and AMD.

Taiwan-based motherboard and chipset makers are optimistic that the upcoming price war between Intel and AMD will drive up demand in the PC market. Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry) pointed out that demand in the PC market has been weak during the first half of the year, as users have been waiting for new products to come out later in the year.

Nvidia To Silently Kill Chipset Division.
