Former co-founder of Game Plan Technologies launches new video editing company, promises more cost effective solutions for coaches, software includes volleyball, football and basketball, video web portal OMAHA, NE, September 02, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sports Applications International (SAI) of Omaha, Nebraska announced its official company launch today. SAI has created the most advanced video editing software in the market that is also very affordable. In addition to video editing software, SAI has developed a state-of-the-art web portal that is platform independent. The web portal will allow coaches to share video with their players as well as other coaches. In addition to sharing video with their players, coaches will be able to create on-the-fly instructional video and motivational vignettes for their players. SAI"s new products are the culmination of thousands of hours in the field learning what coaches need and more importantly what they don"t need. "Coaches need a streamlined solution that is cost effective. For most coaches, cost is their number one concern." John Cook, head volleyball coach at Nebraska said, "Mr. Wilson has always provided the most advanced technology to our program and we"re happy to be working with him again." "In addition to video editing, coaches want to use the Internet to share video with their players but until now it"s generally been difficult to use or too expensive," said Greg Wilson, founder of SAI. The company promises to deliver the most advanced technology that is 50% cheaper than comparable products sold by other vendors. "SAI couldn"t come at a better time when most athletic programs are struggling to maintain their funding," Wilson said. SAI will release SAI Volleyball this month along with VideoScope, a software tool for technique analysis. SAI is scheduled to release products for football and basketball by the end of the year which will be sold through channel partners and independent reps. In the next few weeks, SAI will be announcing new strategic partnerships who will use SAI"s technology to complement their own products.
