As Black Friday approaches Wix has decided to jump on the wagon and offer an incredible sweepstakes promotion of its Combo premium package. The combo package, that includes a personal domain, zero advertisements, Google analytics, 1GB of storage and 5 GB bandwidth usually costs close to $10 a month. However, during Black Friday and the days surrounding it, the Combo package will go for just under a dollar. The combo package will cost only $0.99 for the first month of registration. From this coming Tuesday and until Saturday the 28th, Wix users can build a website and upgrade to the combo package for only $0.99. To take advantage of this promotion, users need to register for a free account at the wix.com website and choose from one of the free Flash templates available in the "creation" galleries. These templates can be easily customized and saved using the Flash website builder. After saving the free Flash website, the user needs to enter his/her account and choose the upgrade option. Clicking on this button will send them to a web page listing the different premium packages available, including the combo package that will be available in a special discount between Tuesday and Friday. Avishai Abrahami, CEO of Wix, explains: "Our business model is based on the Freemium model. This means that all our users can access and enjoy our Flash platform for free, which is our main goal and the reason we started this company. However, certain features are only available through premium packages. This weekend, thanks to this promotion, these features will also be available for next to nothing."
