XGI to mass produce native PCI Express graphics chips in early 2005.

XGI Technology expects to start mass production of its first native PCI Express-compatible graphics chip for the entry- to middle-level desktop VGA market, the XG47, early next year, according to the company"s newly appointed president Jonathon Shyi, who assumed his post on July 20.
