Yahoo's cooking oil-powered car sets speed record.

Yahoo! Autos cooking oil-powered car set a land speed record over the weekend at the El Mirage Dry Lake Bed near Victorville California. The heavily modified six-cylinder, "Lipid Lightning" truck reached 98.155 mph which, according to Yahoo, is a record for a grease car. The team set the record on its first try. High winds and mechanical problems prevented another run and possibly higher speeds. The truck was built by Orange County Rod and Customs in Placentia California.

Attackers Harvest FTP Credentials With New Crimeware Toolkit.
Security researchers discovered that new malicious code spread through the black market is making its way onto some of the largest corporate Web sites in the world. San Jose-based Finjan, a security company specializing in Web gateway solutions, announced today that it uncovered a database containing more than 8700 harvested FTP account credentials, including usernames, passwords and server addresses, spread through a malicious toolkit, which cyber criminals use to harvest the information.
